Default cannot remove read-only from a file

Files in Excel 2003 are saved to a disk as read-only. I cannot remove it as
the
command is not checked. I thought it might work to unprotect the worksheet.
However, this command is not available. Changing the file name doesn't seem
to
work either.

ActiveWorkbook.ChangeFileAccess 2
