Moving many named cells at once to the next column
Thank you for that. I do not know how to get to the
microsoft.public.excel.worksheet.functions area but I am sure I'll find out. This is all new to me. If I should only do one posting for a problem how do I know where to place it? It is not always obvious to me. I have Excel 2003 My original question was: I have a "summary" worksheet which takes data from a "data" worksheet. The "data" worksheet has rows for information as "Sales", "Revenue" or "Margin" and columns for the months. Each month I want to move the links from the "summary" sheet to the new month column in the "Data" worksheet - from July to August etc. The new month is the next column to the right. Not too clear here but assuming you have links in column A of summary sheet back to Data sheet that look like =Data!A1 and so on down the column. Select this range of links and copy over to column B.
