Default if/hide formula

is it possible to combine an "if" statement with a "hide" command?

lets say i'm in workbook 1, and i'm testing against workbook 2:

if (workbook 2 G17 = 0, hide column R, don't hide column R)

is such a thing possible with a formula, or is there some other way??

thx.

Default if/hide formula

Not the formula, you need a VBA code
