Default IF, ADD TEXT. DELETE LINES AND RETURN VALUE...

Below is a table (of sorts, with inherited imported irregularities) with
columns A thru J and rows 1 thru 5 (row 5 is blank) that is in a spreadsheet
many times with all the rest of the rows of data consisting of 1 row each.

A B C D E F G H
I J
123456 4/01/04 Network 700,000 100,000 12 34 7,000 378,000
322,000
Less to Tal Sol D ( 650,000 1,000 350,000 300,000)
----------- --------- -------- --------- ----------
Total L Ess Sol d 50,000 100,000 6,000 28,000
22,000

I need Excel to do the following:
1..cell A1--add "(net)" after what is already in the cell [i.e., 123456 (net)]
2..change the contents of cells D1 thru J1 with the values in cells D4 thru J4
3..delete rows 2 thru 5

I did an IF on A2 and was successful in moving the row 4 values to row 1
(=if(a2="less to",d4,d1). However, my knowledge bank ends there and can not
get the (net) added and rows 2 - 5 deleted.

Many, many sincere thank you's!!!
