Default Autofill doesn't give the number of records filtered any more

On our training machines, autofilter no longer gives the number of records on
the bottom left, it now say READY, I know that Filter mode shows sometimes,
what's changed on the laptops?

Thanks

Diane

Try,

Right click the bar (by ready) and select what you want displayed.

Sorry Mike,

That's not quite what I was looking for, it should display for example "4
records of 16"

Thanks

Thanks Roger but that it didn't mention it either, it's a real mystery
because we've always got a total before, now it's stuck on READY.

Hi

Then from a previous post of Nick Hodge

Opening the VBE (Alt+F11) and if there is not an immediate window
showing,
go to ViewImmediate window. (Ctrl+G). In here type

Application.StatusBar=False

This returns control of the status bar to Excel, as to why this may
have
happened...??????? (Exit VBE an Excel)

You could try this to see if it helps.
