I am using the Excel 2003 version as all our group companies. I get a
template for monthly closing that contains a "cell" funciton like =cell(€śFilename€ť;A1). This function does not work on my laptop but all other companies that uses excel 2003. I would be pleased to get any help. Thanks in advance. Deha |

Hi Deha
This function is designed to show cell information. The arguments you have listed should make the cell display the filename of the worksheet. But, if you have not save the file as an Excel Worksheet (.xls) then it has no filename to display. You mentioned that you get this file as a template. So when you use it, it is considered by Excel to be a New workbook and has no name. Save yuour workbook and the function should work as it is intended. Stephen at ZennHAUS "Deha" wrote in message ...
