Default I need to copy & paste multiple lines to another workbook?

Jim

I'm using Excel 2003 and don't have this problem.

I hold CTRL key and select rows 1, 4, 8, 12, 14, 23 and Copy.

Open another workbook and paste. Data goes into consecutive rows.

Only time this fails is if I have two instances of Excel running.

In that case, the intervening rows also get copied.

is copying all of the intervening rows that I don't need and putting them in
the clipboard to paste either to another workbook or to another application.
I am capturing the specific rows that I need using the Ctrl button.
