Default HOW DO I FORMAT DATA FROM YY/MM/DD TO MM/DD/YY?

WE RECEIVE INFORMATION FROM CANADA WITH DATES IN THE YY/MM/DD FORMAT AND I
WOULD LIKE TO REFORMAT THEM TO BE IN THE MM/DD/YY FORMAT. CAN I DO THIS
WITHOUT CHANGING THE ACTUAL INFORMATION OF THE DATA - BUT JUST THE FORMAT
STYLE???? ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!!
