Goal Seek Bias
I am doing resource allocation.
I have noticed a bias in Goal seek so that a higher weight item will get greater value assigned in goal seek than lower weight ones, such that lower weight ones may never get any preference ever. Has anyone noticed this? Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks. |

Goal Seek Bias
Tina -
I doubt that anyone can assist you unless you describe how the "set cell" depends on the "changing cell" for your Goal Seek problem. What are the worksheet formulas? Many resource allocation problems use the optimization algorithms of Solver (not Goal Seek), in which case you'll have to provide even more description of your worksheet model. - Mike http://www.mikemiddleton.com "Tina" wrote in message ...
