Default HTML Tags

Hi. Can anyone lend some insight into any available methods within Excel
that would remove any HTML tags from a cell, while leaving the remaining
text?

Edit/ Replace ...
<*
by

(leave empty, so that it replaces<* by nothing)

Great thought, but when I do this, it tells me that the "formula is too
long". Any ideas how to get around that one??
