Default linking 12 monthly workbooks to one year to date workbook

I have 12 workbooks(for each month ) each workbook has 2 sheets. One sheet
lists all the firefighters, and totals # of call, hours, etc. that info is then
linked to sheet 2, totaling each firefighters infor for the month.Everything
there 10-4.
My quandry is trying to get the 13th workbook ( year to date ,running )to
link all the other 12 workbooks.
I opened all workbooks, then went to 13th workbook and in the desired cell
put =, then went to each workbook cell to link each book. that works well,
but very time consuming and I have 60+firefighters to do. Is there an
easierand less error proof way to do this?
Hope I was clear in trying to explain my situation......
Microsoft help and excel for dummies has me befuddled.
Thanks

Hi John,
Why don't you set it up as on workbook and 13 sheets, with the total being
the last sheet. Sheet one can be the first month etc.. Then you can list all
the information on one sheet side by side or you could still have 2 sheet's
for each month, just give them different names. Then you can set the
worksheet to print of all the pages at once instead of having to print 13
workbooks.
