Default DAYS360

I don't understand why I'm getting the following result:

DAYS360(A5,TODAY())

when A5 = 12/13/2006

Result = 19-Jan-00

I have also used the date format 13-Dec-06 and receive the same result.
Thanks in advance,
Trouvera

Oops -- the format of the result needs to be numeric.
