Default reset charting default format within a workbook

I am currently developing 3-4 workbooks and each has between 10-15
worksheets. Each worksheet has 2-3 charts representing the data. Each time I
start a new chart I have to reformat it that means 20-30 reformating per
workbook. Very tedious!

I cannot find anything were by I can replicate the formating from one chart
to the other.

any suggestions?

Create your first chart as usual, then save the chart as a custom type
by clicking: Chart-Chart Type-Custom Types (Tab)-User Defined-Add

Give the new type a name and description and click OK-OK.

For the next chart: Insert-Chart-Custom Types-User Defined-[Select
the type you previously named]-Next

Select Series or Data Range to define the new data location and finish
the rest of the wizard to change titles and labels, etc.

Select a formatted chart you like then ChartChart TypeUser Defined.

Your selected Chart will be shown.

Click Add and make this the default Chart.

It will be saved into a file named XLUSRGAL.xls and be the default for all new
charts.
