Autocomplete in an excel worksheet using data validation & a combo box does
not work. I need to be able to go to a cell and type the first few letters of an entry to find the specific entry I need. How can I do this with data validation/combo box or without it? T.S. |

Yes, it does work.
You just have to set it up properly. See Debra Dalgleish's site for instructions.....with pictures! http://www.contextures.on.ca/xlDataVal10.html Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Sun, 10 Dec 2006 10:56:01 -0800, Excel Novice wrote: Autocomplete in an excel worksheet using data validation & a combo box does not work.
