Default format control of a list box

Ok, I am really missing something. I am trying to do a control from a list
box. I had no problem doing it in prior excel. If you pick a part number
from the drop down list I want the control to bring over the price for that
specific part. You used to be able to right click on the box and select
format control then select the range and pick the cell you want the answer to
go to. Then I can use that cell for my other
formulas....=IF(Sheet2!B83=1,Sheet2!A85,IF(Sheet2! B83=2,Sheet2!A86 and so
on.... Can anyone help?
