Default protecting formulae!

hi!

how can i protect my formulae in sharable xl
workbooks..so that others can't alter by mistake?

Default protecting formulae!

Unlock the dependent cells and lock the formula cell, then protect the
sheet.
You lock/unlock a cell with Format - Cells - Protection tab - check or
uncheck the "Locked" box. You can protect the sheet by Tools - Protect
Sheet. HTH Otto

Default protecting formulae!

Note: any worksheets have to be protected before you set as a shared workbook.

Also, once shared you cannot unprotect the sheets without un-sharing the
workbook.
