protecting formulae!

how can i protect my formulae in sharable xl workbooks..so that others can't alter by mistake? -via135 |
protecting formulae!
Unlock the dependent cells and lock the formula cell, then protect the
sheet. You lock/unlock a cell with Format - Cells - Protection tab - check or uncheck the "Locked" box. You can protect the sheet by Tools - Protect Sheet. Note: any worksheets have to be protected before you set as a shared workbook.
Also, once shared you cannot unprotect the sheets without un-sharing the workbook.
