Default SET A COLOUR

I have a column in my worksheet that calculates and displays if date
range has exceeded 24 hours or not. I want to add a feature for the
sheet to automatically turn the cell to red if it has exceeded 24
hours, what do i need to do? HELP!

Format Conditional Formatting
Cell Value Is greater than 24
Format as needed ...
