Default Is it possible to use the sumif function based on the criteria of.

I want to be able to sumif based on highlight color in one spreadsheet I use
In another, I want rows to link to other sheets based on the highlight
color...
Am I nuts?

"nuts" maybe a bit too strong - i'ld go for "ambitious" :)

SUMIF and linking are two different things.. so i'm not sure if there's one
question here or two - however, for a lot of ideas on using colours for
summing / counting / sorting etc check out
http://www.cpearson.com/excel/colors.htm
