Default Configured cell that looks like a combo box.

I have a sheet that I am trying to edit that was created by a person that is
no longer with my company. The cell looks like a regular cell until you click
on it and it opens up a list with a scroll button. I have tried to edit the
cell so that I can place more items into the the list but it gives me
nothing. If possible I can email anyone the spreadsheet so they can look at
it and try and figure it out.

Thanks,
Charles

Click on Data and validation. There should be arange listed there. You can
add you new items there and change the range to include the new ones.
Hope this helps!

Hi charles,
is it possible the list is hidden? it cold be in a column on the sheet your
using or a completely different sheet in the workbook. you might try using
the format tab at the top and click unhide on columns or sheets to see if a
list appears. If so, you probably can directly edit the list. If you want you
can re-hide it when done. I'm a bit of a novice but I am learning thanks to
the folks here in this web page. good luck, larry
