Default this command is not available in a shared workbook

When I am trying to do a copy or move on a worksheet I am getting this error.
I have been told that they were able to do this before but I have tried new
spreadsheets and I'm still getting the error. If I take it off shared I can
do whatever I want. Is their anyway around this at all
