Default VLOOKUP

I am having trouble with VLOOKUP. I am getting memory errors. Can I use the
VLOOKUP formula to look up data in an external workbook or does the data have
to be in the same workbook?

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Steph

Hi Steph,

The data you are looking in with VLOOKUP don't need to be in the same
workbook of the formula you are using. Maybe the table you are looking in is
too big for your PC memory...

Try to describe your situation and to post the formula that is not
working...
