hidden rows, column copy-paste
I realize the error I made in hiding rows where I did so don't pound me on this.
I have a sheet with hidden rows smack in the middle of a "table". If the user does a copy-paste down a column he gets an error. These hidden rows are locked and the sheet is protected. This is good but annoying. The error will confuse him. I guarantee I'll get a call. Is there something that can be setup in Excel that says skip hidden cells when pasting? If the user is going to want to copy-paste that's what he'll do. And there is no way he is going to follow a special process when doing so. I suspect I'll have to live with it for now and redo the table next. thanks |
