Default Microsoft Internet Controls

I would like to build an Macro for automatic form entry.
I would like use Excel 2007 browser to build an app that will allow
users to broswe and input data into text fields, save all of the
variables specific for that site in a spreadsheet.
Later, when the person wants to update the data from the website, they
simply have to update a column of data.

The idea is this Macro would work with many sites. By navigating
through the Macro the first time, it saves the data for that site in
the spreadsheet. (That is if the user saves the data in the
spreadsheet)

Does this sound possible?
