select and paste data based on creteria on previous cells
I have a worksheet running to 700 pages. At various cells, description "cable No" is written. in the next cell the cable number is found and on the cell below the type of cable is found. i have to copy and paste all the cable numbers and corresponding cable types in the next worksheet one below the other. Please give a concrete example of what you are discussing. Does it look like this? The excel sheet is like this xxx CableNo 155 xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx sheathing xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx CableNo 167 xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx sheathing xxx xxx CableNo 188 xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx Insulation xxx xxx xxx XXX CableNo 199 xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx waterproff xxx xxx xxx xxx XXX - denotes other descriptions and other info. What I would want is Sl.No cableNo Type 1) 155 Sheathing 2) 167 Sheathing 3) 188 Insulation 4) 199 waterproff and like that, all cable numbers and their types in another sheet.
