Default Select Field in Pivot Chart

My pivot chart includes weekly data for eight years (418 fields). I often
want to see more detail by limiting the dates to one or two years. In Excel
2003 this requires clearing all dates and clicking on 52 or 104 individual
dates. Is there a way to select a range of dates instead of picking them
one-by-one?

Thanks for any help you can give.
