I am working in Excel 2003 and have a workbook with multiple tabs. The
information on tab "REC" needs to be copied into tab "REC" I have build the macro to do this by inserting a formula (from d16-d300): =IF(REC!D16="","",REC!D16) Everything works fine but when the macro is run the smart tags are in the upper left hand corner of each cell. I can click on the icon and say ignor error and they go away but I want it to do this automically. When I ignor the error when recording the macro it doesn't recognize the action. Here is the macro I am running: Sub ECNINFO() ' ' ECNINFO Macro ' Macro recorded 11/25/2009 by tpeter ' ' Range("D16").Select ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "=IF(REC!RC="""","""",REC!RC)" Range("E16").Select ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "=IF(REC!RC="""","""",REC!RC)" Range("G16").Select ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "=IF(REC!RC[-1]="""","""",REC!RC[-1])" Range("H16").Select ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "=IF(REC!RC[-1]="""","""",REC!RC[-1])" Range("G16:H16").Select Selection.Copy Range("G17:G300").Select Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteFormulas, Operation:=xlNone, _ SkipBlanks:=False, Transpose:=False Range("D16:E16").Select Application.CutCopyMode = False Selection.Copy Range("D17:D300").Select Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteFormulas, Operation:=xlNone, _ SkipBlanks:=False, Transpose:=False Range("D16").Select End Sub Could someone please let me know what to insert into the macro to get rid of this. Thank you very much for your help. Tim Peter |
