Default troubleshooting excel files with links 2003 to excel 2007

I am about to be upgraded to Excel 2007 from 2003. I have a lot of vital
spreadsheet with links and macros, does anyone know if I will I encounter any
issues/problems when opening with 2007? Many thanks

Make sure you go to microsoft.com and get all the latest updates before you
start using excel 2007. There are lots of issues with 2007. Macros in some
cases run slowerd than 2003. Features have been eliminated from 2003.
formating doesn't work the same as 2003.

from what I've been reading, calculations etc could slow dramatically if you
use much conditional formatting

It is practically guaranteed if your spreadsheets are remotely
complicated or use graphical objects, conditional formatting or VBA macros.

Ask to keep XL2003 available until you have a successful migration. Even
with SP2 applied the XL2007 experience is still not thrilling.
