Default VB career advice appreciated for self-taught newbie

Im self taught at VB and over the years have created multiple excel docs
with macro buttons that streamline workflow. Some are for my personal use,
others are for company wide use. I love analyzing what is needed to
streamline workflow & what works best for the user.

I want to quickly formalize my education while working FT and change career
paths. I live near Chicago - any suggestions on education and what kind of
jobs I should be pursuing? OR - are there any IT jobs I could pursue now?
