I've never heard of a VBA converter pack from MS or from anyone else.

What does it convert from and to?

I have heard of compatibility programs (opening xl2007 files in earlier
versions) and viewing programs (when the user doesn't own excel.

Did you mean one of these?

What is the "VBA Converter Pack"? And what is it supposed to do?

THis converter pack will allow you to open files with Excel 5 macros.
For you to get the download link, you need to call Microsoft. It's a
free call which shouldn't cost anything. This i not a public download.

I hope this helps.
