Default Hide "Opening" Window

I store an Excel file in an FTP location on the web. There are going to be
many users opening and saving this file (in the FTP location itself).

When the file is opening or saving, it displays an "Opening" window (or a
"Saving" window) which shows the path of the file. I don't want people to
see this and I don't want the window to be displayed.

Can these "Opening" and "Saving" windows be hidden (or prevented from being
displayed) ?
