first, not all PDF files are the same. There a a few different formats in
PDF plus some added protections that can prevent copying. Also some portions of an excel file could be a picture and you would have to use the OCR converter before going to text. This is my recommendations 1) Use Adobe Professsional. 2) In Adobe Professional there si a OCR converter to convert Pictures into words 3) Adobe Professional has a converter to Microsoft word. Convert the document to Word. 4) Finally import the Word document to Excel. Note: You may get lucky and be able to copy sections of the PDF directly into Excel by using copy (Cntl-C) in the PDF file and the use PasteSpecial in Excel.
