Automate Pasting Charts from Excel to Word
I have some data in Excel which I use to generate charts that are eventually
pasted into Word documents. To avoid the tedium of creating 425 separate charts and pasting those charts into 85 different Word documents, I'd like to automate the process. I think I can create a macro in Excel to create each chart. However, I'm stuck on how to take those charts, copy them and paste them into a specific point in a Word document. Can I generate code in Excel's macro editor that will instruct Excel to open a Word file and paste a copied chart? If you can point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated. Thanks |
