Default Workbooks.OpenText - Disable Use of ThousandsSeparator?

What would happen if one tried to open a comma-separated textfile that
uses decimals (like 1.0023) but no thousand-separators with
Workbooks.Opentext - and one didn't give a ThousandSeparator parameter?
Since the Default is "," - thus the same as the column-separator, this
would surely lead to problems?

And in this case, instead of trying to think of a character that is
never used in the textfile, would it be possible to *disable* the
ThousandsOperator?

Thanks & Best Regards,

Lars
