Hi,

I would like to know the procedure/wasy to automate a plain/pure text-based
appilcations/screen such as DOS prompt, accesing unix-based apps through
emulator such as Hummingbird Hostexplorer, Rumba,etc..

here are the basic things that would like to have for automation
1) screen/text capture
2) verification of data/text in screen
3) pressing function keys such as F1, F2, F3..
4) getting coordinates of text.

Please clairfy, if all the things are possible. If yes, then please provide
me if any additional or special addins are requried to import in excel --
inorder to perform above functions
