Workbook_Open Macro
I am reading a book on Excel 2003 VBA programming. It gives a short
synopsis on how to set up the code for the workbook_open macro but doesn't really go into how to do it. Can anyone help me with this? I am using Excel 2007. I plan on writing the code on a Vista OS and implementing it in an XP environment. Thanks. R. Tanner |

Workbook_Open Macro
Hi Robin,
Bob has shown you an empty Workbook_Open template, ready to receive your code; he has also told you where to place the procedure and has given you explicit instructions on how to locate the ThisWorkbook module. See the following link to the NG archives for many thousands of examples of code for Workbook_Open event procedures: Workbook_Open() http://tinyurl.com/654dtv For an authorative overview of event procedures, do not fail to visit Chip Pearson's events page at: Events And Event Procedures In VBA http://www.cpearson.com/excel/Events.aspx --- Regards.
