Default ActiveX controls from 2007 not compatible in 2003

Hello,

We've got several XL2007 spreadsheets which include comboboxes and
buttons.
When these files are opened in XL2003 the files get converted but the
ActiveX controls don't work.

Anybody got any experience of this - is there an easy workaround apart
from creating new controls?

Any help appreciated
Jason.
