Default Files slow to open in Vista

I have recently changed my PC to one with Vista on and have found that
macros which ran in no time now are taking 30-45 secs to open a file.
Excel 2007 is worse than 2003. Seems to depend on the number of sheets
a file has. One with 16 takes over a minute in opening. Anyone got
any ideas of a work around. Thanks Microsoft for messing it all up!
I'm not even sure that SP! will fix it.
