EXCEL 2007 Speed & Compatibility Mode
Hi everybody, you have certainly noticed that the working speed of
Excel 2007 when opening and dealing with older Excel files is rather deficient. So what can I really do make things faster? I've an Excel file (XLS) made in Excel 2003 with lots of lines and columns. In Excel 2003 it takes about 2 seconds to open, and there is no problem in scrolling down and up in the document, and inserting lines and columns. In Excel 2007 everything is very lazy. Even scrolling down and up! I've saved the document in XLSX format and reopen it but nothing changes. Also have tried to set the calculation to manual in the Excel Options but still everything is the same. I know this is a common subject today but can you please suggest something to speed up my life!!! Thanks in advance JC |
