A little more detail is needed before we can help.

If the file is "workbook protected" as described in the below link,
http://www.j-walk.com/ss/excel/usertips/tip022.htm
you either need to remember the password or find another way of "breaking"
it which I don't support/condone but you can easily find by Googling a few
key words...
