Default create zip files

i have windows xp. i would like to via code zip and unzip certain files. I
would like to know 1) what zip file comes with office ( i can't seem to find
the exe) although i am able to manually zip files via right clicking. can i
set a reference to the zip api and program against it. is the only option
buying a 3rd party? thks ken

Default create zip files

Office doesn't have any native zipping ability but Windows does. Ron de
