Default VBA Project Passwords

I have just taken ownership for some tools a developer has made within my
company. I need to check the code he has written but he has password
protected the entire vb project.

Not normally a problem but in this case, he has left the company (&
emmigrated) so there is no way of finding the password.

Can anyone help please?

Default VBA Project Passwords

Hi,

While it's frequently claimed there is freeware out there to do this in
practice this is mostly for removing workbook/worksheet passwords and not the
more robust 'workbook to open' or 'VBA code' passwords. I use this excellent
tool which you have to buy
