Default turning hyperlink off

Is there a way to turn off hyperlink for an excel file so that manually
entering data in the spreadsheet will not convert the text into hyperlinks
when the data looks like a web address or an email address? Thanks.

Default turning hyperlink off

Tools Options Spelling AutoCorrect Options and uncheck Internet and
network paths

This only affects what you type and not what already exists on the sheet
