I need assistance in writing a formula! I am trying to tract my monthly
spending. I have created a Tab for each day of the month. The last tab on
the page I have created a monthly totals page.

What I am trying to do is enter my daily spending in single line items for
each day and assign them to a Category.

On the Monthly Total Page I would like to write a formula to search each
daily page for say the word "Dining Out". Then locate the total Dollar
Amount associated with "Dining Out" and add it to the total for the month and
report it on the monthly total page in a single cell entry.

Any help to write this would be appreciated.
