Default Chess!

I have tried alot to formulate a chess game in excel but i couldn't so Is
there any expert to guide me so??????

What have you tried then?
Maybe start out with something simpler first like Tic-tac-toe (naughts and
crosses).

I've never actually undertaken getting Excel to play back, but my
strategy would be to take some existing chess algorithm:

http://www.gnu.org/software/chess/ using this for example

Adapt it to VBA.

Map it to the spreadsheet to move pieces.

Nothing to it, really!
