Default setting reminders in assigned tasks

Hi everyone.
does anyone know if there's a workaround to stop Outlook from unsetting the
reminder flag on tasks assigned to other people? I'm setting up a system to
advise users of activities that have been assigned to them, with the due
date, but I could do with the reminder being set automatically (as I don't
really trust the users to do it themselves)....

Any help is greatly aprpeciated.
