I created custom toolbars in 2003 and attached them to workbooks. Now that
I've upgraded to 2007, when I open those workbooks in 2007, I don't see the toolbars. Can someone please tell me where they are? Thank you. |

I already checked there. All I see there are tools to put on toolbars. I
don't see my custom toolbars. Maybe I'm just blind... :) "catrrmg" wrote: try to look for them in customize of Excel's oprtions "ppsa" wrote: I created custom toolbars in 2003 and attached them to workbooks. They should be on the Add-ins tab.

Ah, there they are! Thank you.
I'm not sure what the advantage of this approach by Microsoft is. The amount of vertical real estate taken up seems to be more than before when I had only two rows of toolbars in 2003. Not to mention the fact that a button click now involves at least one additional click to get to the toolbar... Thanks to all for your help :) "Bob Phillips" wrote: They are in the AddIns tab. -- --- HTH Bob (there's no email, no snail mail, but somewhere should be gmail in my addy) "ppsa" wrote in message ... As far as I can see, the ribbon is so prescriptive that it may originally
have been intended not to even support the old commandbars. Once they realised they couldn't get away with that, they just slung it onto an available (not important in their view perhaps?) tab. Most things in 2007 require at least one extra click to do it, the biggest downside to 2007 IMO. -- --- HTH Bob (there's no email, no snail mail, but somewhere should be gmail in my addy) "ppsa" wrote in message ...
