Default Creating and accessing PDF

I have code that 'prints to PDF' and properly saves in the correct location.
The issue I have is when I try to open the PDF simply in Adobe Reader. it
gives me an error: Adobe Reader could not open 'file.pdf' becuase it is
either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for
example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).

This mean anything to anyone? I just want it to properly open (in Reader)
after its successful creation (from Excel).

Thanks,
Chad
