Hi:
I have a laptop that has it's sound working o.k....except that the text to speach feature of Excel doesn't work...I've tried looking to see if it was muted which it wasn't....the volume settings are all the way up....I've went back and forth between diff settings as well within the Win 2k control panel / text to speach feature....what else could I do??? thanks in advanced for any response. mc |

What version of Excel are you using?

I'm using Office XP....and yes I did install the ad on component of
Text to Speak already...funny thing is the computer plays sounds and music but just want speak the text for some reason. I believe that Text To Speech is an optional install component. It may not
have been installed with Office. FWIW, I installed the Text-To-Speech during the installed, but have never
used it. I quick check now and it works as it should, as far as I can see. NickHK wrote in message ups.com...
