Default Sort display here by date?

Is there any way to sort the displayed items in my "Items List" in this Forum
by date? There doesn't appear to be any logic whatsoever to the way they
display, but it would be most convenient to have the most recent always at
the top.

Depends on where you're viewing it. This "forum" is really a Newsgroup: if
you use a "proper" newsreader such as Outlook Express (though some may
disagree with that categorization) or similar then you have many - or at
least more - display options.

Ah! Then reading it in Microsoft Office Online means simply "Whut yew Sees iz
whut yew gets"? I keep this little pup open on my TaskBar any time I'm
working in Excel, and click Refresh when I need an update. I use Outlook for
my email. Have no idea to use Outlook Express (haven't even looked at that
dude for at least five years <g!)

I've found the newsgroup in Google, and been able to sort it there. Is there
a simple way to manage all this in Outlook?

fine for me.

That would, in fact be true. However the Outlook Express requires some
setting up including some "NNTP" (or something like that) information which
has to do with some server info. Forgive my dullness on this, but I am a
humble hacker geek, not a network ninny, so I have made it a conscious effort
not to know anything more about servers and the like than it is absolutely
essential for me to know <g!
